“But New Zealand’s best-known fashion name was no match for Pamela Anderson, who blitzed the media with the global introduction of her new eco-friendly line A*Muse, in partnership with the former Heatherette co-designer Richie Rich.

The collection included graphic leggings, bandeau bikinis, caftans, vegan sandals and men’s novelty swim briefs with crotch embellishments that included a real pair of rhinestone-embellished scissors.

After the show, flanked by Rich on his trademark roller skates, Anderson did a victory lap of the runway wearing not much more than the pink scarf in which she had wrapped herself for her press conference on the previous day.



Asked if she thought a summer collection might have been a little out of place at the event, Anderson told The Moment, “It’s summer all year round for me.””
