I'm such a lucky girl to be doing Dancing with the Stars. It's going to be a lot of hard work, but I'm so excited to learn and work really hard for the competition. I adore my dance partner, it's going to be a lot of fun!

Dear Prime Minister:
In light of Environment Canada’s recent data showing ice levels in the Gulf of St. Lawrence at a 30-year low, please grant a last-minute reprieve to the few seals who are able to give birth there and immediately call off Canada’s 2010 harp seal slaughter.

I'm so proud that a Canadian girl got the gold in snow boarding! I can't wait to go and see some of the Games. I'm going to be there at the end though, Feb. 27th at the A*muse fashion show in Vancouver.
Other than that my fragrance is doing great, it's about to launch internationally. My haircare and skin care lines are coming soon too, they'll be available in drugstores.
I'm currently working on a beach club resort in Montenegro-one of my favorite places. My snowboard partnership with Nidecker is going well. What's up next, maybe surfboards and skateboards? I'm such a fan of all the extreme sports, I'd really love to sponsor athletes as well as create some cool stuff together with them.

I'm so happy the Olympics are in my home town-Vancouver. God Bless all the Athletes. I'll be watching from my home in California mostly, but I'm going to get there at the end. We have a fashion show and a party scheduled to celebrate in Vancouver on 27th; I'm hoping to be at the closing ceremonies to give my love and support.
Go Canada!
And- I have to say, STOP THE SEAL HUNT! It's just awful and embarrassing. I'm sure there will be a lot of heat about it, it's barbaric and completely uncivilized. Other than that, we have a great country with great people and people will see the beauty of the west coast, it will be great for Canada!

It's so nice to potentially see all the elements together again: cinematography, the concept/Felliniish, musical, dancing, performance and song. I live in the old world of movies because this has been non-existent. Sexy curvy women writhing around on stage. Yes! Uninhibited female relationships are so complicated and interesting - so many layers of communication. From the fake smiles, to underlying measuring up; the friendships which are really not friendships, using sex but guarding ones soul. Every woman knows to watch her back; if it's a stranger, her friend, her sister or her mother. It's survival of the smartest but bond/sisterhood all the same (I've definitely experienced some single white female moments...yikes...).
I have not seen movie yet but it's peaked my interest. I just know it will be great, how can it not be?! I just want to observe...the idea alone, the billboard.
Now that my kids have grown a bit I'm feeling ready to work and work hard. I really haven't had the opportunity yet. For the last 13 years I've based my schedule around my kids school and sports. It has paid off. I'm a very hands on mom, with 2 wonderfully rounded boys. They're worldly yet small beach town boys, that can tie a tie; very independent but know they are taken care of. I'm blessed. It's been hard alone. Not mentioning the men I've dragged into picture and dragged out. That's my shame but love is seductive. I've been a fool for love but I'm turning a corner. All of them were great to my boys. That's always the clincher. But the boys know they were born out of true love. They know the truth. They know people have problems and not to judge but to keep a safe distance even with people you love if it's for the best. To change you "must own" your issue and then have the desire to change yourself. No one can do that for you. All we can do is sit back and watch and support each other unconditionally.
It was such a leap of faith to go on stage with someone like Brian Blessed and the talented gang at wimbledon theatre. Without ever doing a play, I had so much fun on stage in London. The discipline, the desire to please the crowd. What goes into (even a silly pantomime) is pure art back stage. The costumes and everything. All the people behind scenes guiding actors on and off. The quiet calls to the dressing rooms while you're applying you last layer of lip gloss. The audience! I love being on stage. I have taken a real interest in choreography, singing and acting. It's time for a challenge. A new chapter, I know how to put my heart into something. Live with passion and protect your individualism.
Happy New Year, may all your dreams get a jump start this year. Hard work and reality check for everyone. Save the environment. Do something every day to get closer to your goal. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Lots of love,
Pamela

Okay, first show done. Pantomime in London and I'm loving it. I survived! Great to see all the families and the kids! People really get into it. I'm happy on stage, the cast is brilliant. I was so nervous; but a good nervous. Let's see if we can do better tonight...25 shows to go!
I miss my boys. They'll be here soon. I can't wait to see their reaction. Oh mom...:)

Let's remember the best things in life are free; you can always give a lot!
Mend a quarrel,
Seek out a forgotten friend,
Write a love letter,
Write a thank you letter,
Share a treasure,
Encourage youth,
Be loyal,

Interesting article from the New York Times:
LATELY more people have begun to express an interest in where the meat they eat comes from and how it was raised. Were the animals humanely treated? Did they have a good quality of life before the death that turned them into someone’s dinner?
Some of these questions, which reach a fever pitch in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, pertain to the ways in which animals are treated. (Did your turkey get to live outdoors?) Others focus on the question of how eating the animals in question will affect the consumer’s health and well-being. (Was it given hormones and antibiotics?) Read More

Watching my youngest at surf practice.
It's just gorgeous as the sun sets. Hard to believe I'm leaving for London soon. That Canadian blood will save me in the cold. I've decorated for Christmas early.
Looking forward to Pantomime though I'm excited for sure... Even though I won't be walking an invisible dog. Marcel Marceau?
